Showed up almost an hour late to the Alabama state juggling fest there's none there and the workers at the park even tell us it's a bust
Did the park employees say if anyone else turned up earlier & you missed them, or was it that the event didn't happen at all? I'm surprised because I got a pretty quick response from the orgs when I asked about the end time, & it's not as if the answer came so long ago that plans could have changed. Looks like this may have been some one's wishful thinking rather than an organised event, unfortunately it is very difficult to tell with events posted only on Facebook.
I'm sorry you had a wasted journey. I feel bad for telling you you should go when you requested to join the Edge. Don't be discouraged though, I know it's a little way off but the Groundhog Festival is a well established festival with a long track record of actually happening! I stand by my assertion that juggling festivals are fantastic & you will have a great time.
