Acro you say? During a pandemic? Online?
Well, we've had enough of sitting around waiting for COVID to go away. We miss acro, we miss acro folk, and we miss watching everyone train and play til they drop.
So BAC is BACK - online!
As always, we'll have 3 full days of awesome workshops, across a huge range of styles and levels. Standing acro, acroyoga, handstands, acrodance, solo dance, therapeutic flying, flexibility - we plan to have the lot.
PLUS a full day pre-con, which we have affectionately termed pre-con'ditioning' - a whole day of workshops to get you back in acro shape, a week before the main convention.
Worried about who to work with? This year there will be lots more workshops that you can do solo, lots more workshops that you can do unspotted, and lots more very silly workshops to add some laughter to these crazy time.
Of course, if you're among the lucky few that have training space and spotters, there'll be some hardcore workshops to keep you entertained as well ;)

COVID MODIFICATIONS
Ah... hosting an acro convention in the middle of a pandemic... we must be mad.
How you 'attend' this convention will depend a lot on your personal living situation, and on government regulations at the time. We know people's acro situations vary between "I barely even know what acro is anymore" to "I have a private training space and live with other acrobats".
And so, we have a few modifications:
1. There will be waaay more workshops that you can do solo, in case a partner isn't an option for you.
2. For workshops that have pre-requisites, there will often be two versions: a harder pre-req that you must meet if you not have spotters, and an easier pre-req that you must meet if you do have spotters. This is so that you can train safely and successfully, according to your situation.
3. There will be seminars as well as workshops, where teachers will discuss certain topics.
4. There will be a whole day pre-con that anyone can attend solo, to help us couched potatoes get back into acro shape!

YOUR LEVEL
Beginners - you are so welcome! If you don't even know what acro is, there will still be teaching suitable for you.
Intermediate - expect fun, challenges, and variety.
Advanced - you won't be bored. We have some extremely high level teachers planned, who are never short of ways of upping the difficulty if it looks like you're cruising ;)
